Take You Pick-10yr Bourbon-99% Corn
1. The label says 9yrs old because that was the TTB approved label. It turned 10 before bottling.
2. Little screw up on the back label. Says 113.4pf, but it is 114.2pf.
Tasting Notes:
Nose:
Sweet fruit up front on the nose (maybe dried plums). Opened up after a couple swirls. Then you get caramel, hint of honey and oak.
Palate:
Hot up front on the palate with strong black pepper spice, sweet cherry and a hint of dark chocolate. Oak, more chocolate on the finish - long and spicy.
